GETTING TEASED IN SCHOOL:

I think in many cases, if the student can get up the courage, and get the teachers OK, to give a presentation on tourettes and explain it to the class, the class will become more sympathetic, toward the situation.

For example, a boy was teased for how he walked, until he explained to his classmates, "I have a plastic leg."   Then everyone became sympathetic of him.
